Direct Answer
Wet your Seeds with Water, separate Wet Seeds from dry ones, deliver Wet Seeds to Planter Boxes, let them grow into Flowers, then destroy the mature Flowers with Fire or another method to collect 4 Amethelis and 1 Gold per Flower head. A Pyro Dispenser heated by a Thermal Buffer can automate the harvesting step. Vine does not yield the same output as Flower heads.
Quick facts
Full production flow
Dry Seeds that did not convert should loop back to the Water stage. Vine does not produce the same output as Flower heads — target the Flower heads specifically.
Step-by-step setup
- 1
Wet your Seeds
Bring Seeds into direct contact with Water. Seed + Water → Wet Seed. Seeds normally come from the Kinetic Press (one Gold + one Seed per Burnt Residue drop).
- 2
Separate Wet from dry
Wet Seeds share the same density as Water and float; dry Seeds are denser and sink. Use this difference to route Wet Seeds forward and return dry Seeds to the Water stage. Filters, Conveyors, Launchers, or Clearing Frames can help.
- 3
Deliver to Planter Boxes
A Wet Seed grows when it contacts a Planter Box. Keep the delivery path clear — growing plants can absorb additional Wet Seeds and expand. Use buildings to enclose the growing area.
- 4
Harvest with Fire
Destroy mature Flowers with Fire, tools, weapons, or explosives. Each Flower head releases 4 Amethelis + 1 Gold. For automation, a Pyro Dispenser heated by an adjacent Thermal Buffer produces recurring flame bursts. Lava is not a mandatory fuel.
- 5
Collect the output
Gold and Amethelis fall through the Planter Box. Leave clear collection space underneath, and route the two outputs onward before scaling production. Use an Aerokinetic Fan for large Amethelis piles.
Component checklist
| Component | Role | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Seed supply | Planting input — usually from Kinetic Press | Yes |
| Water | Turns Seed into Wet Seed on contact | Yes |
| Wet / dry separator | Routes Wet Seeds forward; returns dry Seeds to Water | Yes |
| Planter Box | Grows Wet Seed into Flower (Tier 3, 2,000 Gold) | Yes |
| Harvest method | Fire, tools, weapons, or explosives destroy mature Flowers | Yes |
| Collection route | Gold and Amethelis fall through the Planter Box | Yes |
| Pyro Dispenser | Recurring flame bursts for automated harvest (Tier 3, 2,000 Gold) | Optional |
| Thermal Buffer | Supplies heat to Pyro Dispenser — Lava is not mandatory | Optional |
| Aerokinetic Fan | Moves large Amethelis piles (density 40, Wisp type) | Optional |
Layout rules
Separate four zones: Seed wetting → Wet Seed routing → plant growth → harvest + collection.
Enclose growth area with buildings to prevent uncontrolled plant spread.
Scale Planters early. Get the full loop working reliably before adding more.
Mix logistics with growth. Keep the Wet Seed delivery lane separate from the growing chamber.
Troubleshooting
Seeds arrive but nothing grows
- Cause
- Seeds are still dry — only Wet Seeds plant on a Planter Box.
- Fix
- Verify Seeds contact Water. Dry Seeds are denser than Water; Wet Seeds are not.
Wet Seeds stay suspended in Water
- Cause
- Wet Seeds share the same density as Water — they float instead of sinking.
- Fix
- Design the wetting section for this behavior. Use Filters or gravity-based separation.
Dry Seeds reach the Planter Boxes
- Cause
- The separator is not catching them after the wetting stage.
- Fix
- Route dry Seeds back through the Water loop until they become Wet Seeds.
Farm spreads out of control
- Cause
- Growing plants absorb extra Wet Seeds and expand in all directions.
- Fix
- Reduce the incoming Wet Seed pile. Enclose the growing area with buildings.
Mature Flowers remain in place
- Cause
- Planting works but the harvest step is missing or not firing.
- Fix
- Add Fire (Pyro Dispenser) or another repeatable destroy method.
Output backs up and stalls production
- Cause
- Gold and Amethelis collection path is blocked or too narrow.
- Fix
- Clear the collection route below the Planter Boxes before adding more Planters.
Tier 3 progression
This is a volume target — the farm must sustain continuous production. Get the full automation chain working before scaling Planter count.
